SISTER CHAIN & BROTHER JOHN BERLIN ALBUM RELEASE MARCH 16
On March 16th Sister Chain & Brother John are celebrating the release of "The Androgyne Show" on their hometurf in Berlin. This will happen at Kugelbahn in Wedding. Guests will be on stage to play along. And Capt. Daydream and Zelda Panda (Marzipan Marzipan) will do a dj set together. In short: Great fun not to be missed. It's also an opportunity to be among the first in Germany to get their hands of this lovely new piece of vinyl.

GIRLS LOVE RALLIE CD AVAILABLE NOW
It took a while to get them done, but now we have Girls Love Rallie-album "Son Of Rock'n'Roll" in stock on cd!
You can order it here: http://www.sopa.dk/releases/011.htm

GIRLS LOVE RALLIE RE-RELEASE...OR MAYBE NOT?!
We have a brand new surprise release for you! And the crazy thing is: It's free!
After spending lots of time recording "Son Of Rock'n'Roll" Girls Love Rallie went to the city of Aalborg and recorded the whole thing again on lo-fi equipment - in one day! It's called "Son Of Beat/Folk" and it's the companion to and twin of "Son Of Rock'n'Roll.
This album contains the same songs as the original album. It's very much the same album, but very much a different album. It just goes to show that Rallie's songs are so strong that whatever you subject them to (lo-fi or hi-fi) they always shine through. Is it a re-release? Well, not really, but... hm, maybe. Nevertheless, we love it! :-)
Listen to it and download it at http://www.sopa.dk/releases/013.htm

ALBUM REVIEWS
Italian music zine Sentireascoltare has reviewed the Marzipan Marzipan album. They really like it too.

After Gaffa's rave review of Girls Love Rallie (http://gaffa.dk/anmeldelse/55762) comes another from Denmark's other music zine Geiger. They think it's some of the best pop music they've heard it in a long time: http://www.geiger.dk/anmeldelser/anmeldelse.php?id=4006 .
Gaffa also reviewed Sister Chain & Brother John's "The Androgyne Show" which they find alluring with its minimalistic approach. They think there are several highlights, among them the title track "The Androgyne Show", "When It All Comes Down, "Satan Said" and the audience favourite "On The Roof"... http://gaffa.dk/anmeldelse/57676.

SISTER CHAIN & BROTHER JOHN DANISH TOUR FEATURE AND NATIONAL RADIO PODCAST
Sister Chain & Brother John had an eventful tour of Denmark last month. We have collected plenty of live videoes and photos from it all in our new feature: http://www.sopa.dk/features/025.htm
The duo also visited the radio programme "Cultural Sunday" on Danish National Radio along with SOPA head honcho Lars. The whole thing can be downloaded as podcast here: http://www.dr.dk/P1/Kultursoendag/Udsendelser/2012/02/27110123.htm . FRIENDS HAVING FUN
Yes, we have a soft spot for Berlin at SOPA. Golden Diskó Ship from that particular city is no exception. You have probably heard her on a SOPA compilation? ;-)
Well, after a couple of "homemade" releases (which SOPA has in stock!) and a split vinyl with Jasmina Maschina, she now releases her first LP on Klangbad Records. This happens on March 16th. We had a little sneak peak and anyone who knows and loves what she's been doing to far will not be disappointed. :-)

Speaking of talented women with electronics... Heidi Mortenson's new vinyl EP "Mørk" is out now. Listen to it all here: http://www.nosnetrom.net/shop.html

That's all this time, folks! We have more news soon (a beautiful music video and probably more shows). ;-)

See you out there!
